You are a simpleton if you think Australia is closer to Europe than California is.
Try looking at a map of the Earth sometime.
Australia is as far away from Europe as you can get genius.
And I've been to Europe six times in the last seven years, the longest instance being four months non-stop.
It costs more for Australians to travel the globe and we have to go further than anyone else but that doesn't stop us from doing it.
