As far as non monetary aid, the US has made available dozens of transport planes and 3 warships, as well as 700 Marines and countless tons of supplies.
The comparison to France was made as France seems to be the leader in the anti US campaign in the UN.
Also, please note that France was spared compared to Northern European countries, only a few dozen French are missing compared to almost 10000 Northern Europeans, so it is no surprise that France is not participating heavily in the humanitarian help.
