That's not true ;)
You can eat the same amount of food, and instead of spread out over 3 meals, spread it out over 5 to 7 meals and you will burn more calories than just 3 meals. Why?, because the digestive processes that take place when food is consumed requires energy. Activating them 7 times instead of 3 times will burn more calories.
I knew a guy who eat a couple bites every hour, he lost a LOT of weight.
