i'm debating the SAME thing...i have att/cingular and these 3 are my finalists:
Motorola mpx220
Palm Treo 600
Blackberry 7290
but, i'm honestly considering just paying $30 a month and getting Tmobile Sidekick II...ALOT of good industry reviews on that one (mobile industry, not porn, lol) and it does "push" email, pop3, AOL/ICQ, web browsing, etc etc
