Please do explain since you seem to think this is a bad idea, maybe you can open my eyes because i am so nieve.

Well, yes I think the idea is bad. Don't get med wrong if you can get enough webmasters to generate you 1200 sales a day (eh wow) then I would jump on that as well, hell give em 49% sit back and don't move a muscle, you're all set.
See that's kinda where the whole thing breaks down in my eyes. If people are good at generating traffic and even more important, good at converting said traffic into sales then why would they wanna settle for a small percentage of a big cake? To also hope the company will bring in more good webmasters and then THEY won't have to do anything eventually as well. That is what this is about as I see it. It's about getting others to to actually get you the money, you built it, but you need others to make them come.
You will make a partnership with some webmasters where you will blindfold yourself and fairly determine how big a piece of the pie they get, most likely based on a trial period. So then the deal is make, contract is made, the webmaster(s) is/are now entitled to a piece of your pie and here you would be stupid to allow this even if they can't meet their quota right?... Ok so the scenario is this, they will own a percentage as long as they can hold up their end of the bargain, so it's temporary anyways.
Tell you what these sale-makers should be doing instead. They should make their own sites based on what they know they can convert, send their own traffic to themselves and like you try to recruit webmasters ower time so they can one day relax. Heck, to ensure that, they could even offer big players a piece of their company to get them to send sales ;)
Have nothing against you mate, you have a standup program and no doubt I can't see the bigger picture. I just thought it would be fun to think this out in this direction ;)
Best of luck to you.
