mate. i never even heard anyone say that until i went to sydney.. you'd only get "sticks" if you wanted small amounts - an aluminium foil wrapped bunch of buds about the size of your finger.. usually around US$10 -$15.. it's only when you started buying quarter ounces or exceptionally high quality imported shit that you got measured gear.. the north coast is a growing region so theres heaps of cheap bush buds.. in nimbin you can sell the shit on a street like a stall.. it's pretty much legal..
