It's not weird as much as it is unfun. I think most of the fun for a kid is not knowing what's under the wrapping paper etc and believing Santa brought it. But Christmas has become more work than fun to me now... so it doesn't feel like it used to. 2004 was a bad year for me in general, so I lost that fuzzy feeling for a lot of things that used to be exciting.
