From posting and reading on various boards since 97 (and making a number of mistakes myself, ruining relationships both personal and professional), I've determined two things:
1) Don't post material relating to your family or personal life. Keep that in emails and shares between you and your friends. Even if you are proud of your kids, etc.
2) Don't comment on material relating to other people's family or personal lives. Keep that in emails and shares between you and your friends.
