You need only shut off the TV, burn all the Vogues and Elles and Cosmos, and vsit any of the world's fine art museums to see how recently the ideals of female beauty have come to resemble what even our grandfathers would have called sickliness, malnourishment and ugliness.

When we're talking about bad eating habits and bad workout habits, we're not talking about aesthetic standards, but rather medical ones. If habits will likely cost you several years or even decades of your life, I think they can safely be considered bad.
Ofcourse, these health standards aren't followed by the typical anorexic fashion model either.
