Some funny shit in this thread.

1- Goldfish like cold water. So thats not a problem. If there are huge fluctuations in the water temp that may bother them but those fish are pretty hardy and can tolerate that.

2- the pleco wont bother the gold fish.

Your most probable problem is a water quality problem caused by adding additional bio load to the tank. I don't know the size of the tank but it looks pretty small. Adding a pleco to that tank may have caused an imbalance. Check your ammonia and nitrite (nitrite not nitrate) levels. If they are spiked a simple 25% water change may help in the meantime while the filter adjusts to the increased bio load. If not you may have to reduce the number of fish or get a bigger tank.

Gold fish are pretty dirty. Change the water on a regular basis.
