No windows? Weird. In any case, I would suggest you prep for losing power. Might not happen but if it does you could be in a bind. For example, find your flashlights, batteries, candles and matches. Even with a gas furnace, if it uses electric blowers, you could be without heat. Do you have other gas appliances that could provide heat in a pinch, e.g. a gas stove? If you do lose heat, remember to keep some water running so your pipes don't freeze.
If the door that's frozen shut is a metal storm door, heat should conduct through it pretty well, and one way of transferring heat to it (since a hair dryer is out) would be to boil pots of water, slowly pour around the frozen sections, mop up the poured water, and repeat.
