To a certain extent I guess I can agree with them. The Civil War was fought over more than just slavery, much of it had to do with the fact that the Southern states felt they were unrepresented. Isn't that after all why we succeeded from Great Britain?

It's the whole "taxation without representation" debacle.

Whoa, slow down there. You are going to give the sheeps on GFY a migraine. They aren't used to thinking for themselves or actually basing judgements on rational facts. They make quick accusations about people being 'hicks' or 'rednecks' to rationalise their arguement that noone should really give a fuck about this girl. Makes life a hell of a lot easier no?
