Thanks for your thoughts - Dime was one of my closest friends - I just got back from Texas where I have been since the tragedy. I have to say I was hurt by a lot of the comments on gfy when this thing went down - harsh and thoughtless comments that made me tune out of this board until now - a lot of people have no idea how hard it is going through something like this - it is not like anything I have ever had to deal with - my friend was murdered and he is gone from us forever - it's so hard to believe even now - it's been a sad couple of weeks...everyone was torn up over this emotionally - passing time is the only thing that is making it any easier to deal with - I am so fortunate to have known him and spent so much time together - the world has lost a great artist, musician, and down to earth good guy in a very wrong way.
I hope that no one has to ever go through anything like this - it is just too unbelievable to try to handle - love your friends and family everyday like it is the last time you will ever see them. My life is forever changed because of this - it will be much harder to find the fun again with Dime gone - he was always the spark to work and good times - he will be missed beyond what words can describe.
I was fortunate enough to be the one to put together the memorial video for Dime's Funeral - it was a way for me to say my goodbye - I got a chance to share some of the accomplishments and love Dime brought to us all.
Here is a pic from the last photo shoot we did together for Washburn Guitars:
