I hate trendy retro cars like the new Minis, Beetles, etc...
The Mini is a massive car and is a disgrace to the original car. The wheelbase and curb weight are nowhere near small or light. The car is not a "pocket rocket", it's basically a Civic with goofier body panelling and an option supercharger to bring it up to par with your average luxury sedan.
I don't believe in "chick" designations, the Miata is one of the best affordable sports cars on the market and has been for 14 years, but the new Mini is just ridiculous. And front wheel drive.
