Should I make a paysite or a really good AVS?

The content is in a variety of niches but not exclusive. I've made big AVS sites before but have no experience of paysites. So I'm tempted to stick with what I know and go down the AVS route, but is that too much content for an AVS site? And is it enough content for a paysite?
