this has always made me curious. i used to play alot of video games with my best friend, we actually owned an arcade together back in the heyday of arcades. he consistently beat my ass 7 out of 10 games, we'd play practically every EA sports game available. and losing would really piss me off, it shouldnt have but it did. here's the thing though, i am a much better athlete than him so I don't think his hand/eye coordination could be better than mine , and we're about the same intelligence level. but something made him a better video game player than me. what's most important in video games? pattern recognition?
hand/eye coordination?

what i think is low panic threshold, quick hand/eye coordination is useless if you're going to overreact to events in the game.
