wrong, spam hosting, hell, even real double optin mailer hosting costs a fuck of a lot more than regular posting..there are no $4.95 hosting specials even with true edouble option mail hosting
so, what is a "real" marketing technique? if you email someone and they buy, isn't that marketing? you sold them a product they wanted (if they didn't want it, they wouldn't have clicked the link in the email). How is that any different ore "more real" than putting a bunch of banners on a site, popping consoles or making sure your site is readily available when they search for something via a search engine? I'm interested in hearing your views on "real" marketing.
