Diversify your income whenever possible!

If you can swing doing both, then do both.
If you had to choose one over the other, go with that 'gut' feeling.

List the 'pros' and 'cons' of both and hopefully you'll make the right decision.

You'll have to consider the 'time value of money' as well to see which one is going to give you a higher return for the amount of time you spend doing the necessary work.
