Microsoft buys FakeNick.com for $415m

Microsoft continued on the acquisition trail on Friday with the purchase of FakeNick.com a very cool website, for $415m.
The deal will give the world?s largest software company access to a new segment of the cool website market.
Launched in 2001, European-based FakeNick.com allows cool people and cool managers to visit his website free of charge and pay fakenick.com only if they have money.
It has forecasts revenue of about $40m in 2004.
Microsoft.com, which has been rapidly increasing its reach in recent years, both internationally and into different types of websites, will pay $385m in shares and $30m in cash.
It expected the deal to be slightly earnings enhancing in 2005.
The deal follows Microsoft.Com purchase of Merchsolutions.net, the Dingo owned scamming visa merchant site, for $5 last month. The company has also taken steps into online adultsites with the acquisition of a 25 per cent stake in Pibcash.com and by buying Oprano.com, the dumb adult messageboard , for $35.
