Agreed. I grew up going to catholic school all the way through high school. I totally belive in the Catholic religion, Jesus and all the mumbo jumbo. It's just too much of who I am and how I grew up to just toss it all away.
BUT I DO NOT preach to other people and DO NOT empose my beliefs on others. I never have and I never will. I use religion more like a guideline on how to live my life more honestly and the whole do unto others as u want to be treated thing. Figure it's better to be safe than sorry and I'd rather live believing in Gold and having him turn out to be fake than NOT believing in him and end up in hell. No harm no foul right.
The only thing worse that over zeolous religious freaks that try to empose there religion on you is people that are the complete opposite. I hate people who automatically assume religious people are wrong and stupid for there beliefs. You're trying to empose your non belief just as badly as the religious freaks.
I think religion is ok within proportion. If it keeps you happy and helps you live your life then it hurts no one.
