Hey I bought a house last December and I've been living with empty rooms and ugly powder blue paint in the kitchen and peach walls in the great room because I haven't been able to afford furniture and paint. That's homeownership.
After that I had some serious health problems and I had to cut back on my work hours and back out of some projects I was involved in. Now I've spent about $10k this year on co-pays alone. That doesn't include the non-insurance paid stuff that is even more huge.
Not once did I come here, or anywhere else, begging for money. I'd love to have a bunch of people pay my bills, but instead my husband and I buckled down and worked harder and tried to spend less.
I hope this thread is a joke. There are lots of people out there a LOT worse off than you and I. Just be glad you've got a home and health.
