I shouldn't be back, but I am.. haha..

Okay.. when you get hit enough times you start to be afraid of whatever hit you. Yes, I've caught myself shying away from "suspicious looking" white guys. But I've not been a target in recent history. Not in this way anyways.

I see racism everyday, and I don't just see racism against black people.. I see it from all angles, and all colors.

But I live in white suburbia. I get dirty looks everytime I leave my house.

I work in the computer industry. I get suspicious looks each time I meet a new client.

I'm a heavy-metal musician. I have to bust my ass a little harder each time I try to book a gig -- well, not anymore. Once I got some big name acts and producers backing me up, all the walls fell.

I don't even really notice or care about this shit much anymore, but my best friend (a white guy) nearly takes a shit every time we go out when he hears how many racist things are said around me on a daily basis.

And every time I hear the word "******", I'm reminded of all of this.
