I think I caught maybe every 3rd word the guy was saying.
I finally got one of my computers back up but can only get online with dialup. I tried to explain to the guy that I have line sync and the modem lights indicate a good connection, but am getting an application error when I try launching the connect to DSL applet. He's trying to tell me about filters and other pre-installation stuff. I've had service for 4 years, this is an after-format software issue.
I finally told him, yeah I'll go do filters and call back since I only have the one line. He was more than willing to call me back, but I told him it might take me a little while so it would be better for
me to call back.
That was about 5 minutes after the first impulse I had to hang up on him...
