but i don't wait to be connected to the person any more... i hear the delay and hang up. My credit card company complains because it is hard to get ahold of me.

It's bullshit. If email spam is illegal - than telesolication should be too - and junk mail. Oh yeh, and while we're at it can we take the commercials off the programs i like to watch.
(I realize we need companies...and they need to market ... but you should be able to opt out of EVERYTHING... for a price of course =)
