I've never met a model or cam girl who got implants & didn't see an immediate boost in income.

This is absolutely true. it's an economic/career decision, and both men and women like the look of implants beneath a sweater.
I'm not sure just how many women don't realize that there are lots of men that would never date a women with implants, and despite almost overwhelming public acceptance, there are legions of men secretly horrified by the death of breasts.
And of course men are to blame for being so addicted to big and perfect.
Sad all around, and probably typical of an age in which image is more important than reality.
