There's no guarantee that their shit isn't gonna go down too... nothing is indestructable. But my connection here has been up and running strong for nearly 3 years. I've had 2 days in that time period where a switch went down and it took more than a few hours to fix..... but other than that..... it's been steady as she goes.
That's why I said MOST of us and mentioned that some people
that know their shit run it or parts from their own location.

My suggestion was for the general mass of people amongst us.
Not for everybody. I can also sum up a lot of things why it could
be better in some cases to host at your own office.

However people who DO host at home already know those advantages and know enough that they don't need advice.
