Two Palestinians killed in Gaza
A seven-year-old Palestinian girl was killed by Israeli forces in the town of Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip on Friday shortly after a nearby mortar attack by militant Palestinian group Hamas, medical officials said.
"We were having lunch when suddenly there were some explosions and automatic gunfire," the victim's father Omar Siam, 50, told AFP.
"I felt a pain in my leg, but I was only lightly injured, thank God. Our meal was splashed in blood. We then realised that Rania had been killed by a bullet to the head," he said.

Man dies after Jefferson Parish deputies hit him with stun gun
METAIRIE, La. (AP) ? A 35-year-old man died Saturday after Jefferson Parish deputies twice hit him with a stun gun after a traffic stop, authorities said.
Fleming of Kenner had allegedly attacked deputies twice, and was still fighting each time they used the Taser.
Fortunato said Fleming first started fighting after deputies stopped him for driving erratically. He refused to get out of the car, and deputies dragged him out. A records check found that he was wanted for criminal neglect of family.
