she broke the rules, she was punished for breaking the rules
and I think some of you guys are confused...she didn't take the normal safety scissors you see in school, rather the sharp ones that could be used as a weapon...
so, what if she took those scissors and stabbed another kid...then you guys would complain about violent schools with no rules...
