This is totally a touchy subject, and it does happen. I feel giving free content is ok to do for the use of upsells, but most people do and will abuse it.
Wouldn't one idea to have a limit on the amount of content used compared to the amount of links to the content.
What I mean is say there must be at least one link to said site for every 10 pictures used. The links must be spread out in a way to make it obvious that it is from a certain site.
Many programs give away content in bulk loads so it makes it easy for someone to say fuck it and use more then what should be an alloted amount.
Using pix in tours, joins pages and etc is just wrong. Content is very cheap these days and you can purchase a set or two to use for less then a join.
