i know.. but gee that takes a while.. (and thank christ for optical mice.. i remember erasing at 600% with some pretty dirty mice balls.. trying to get that edge.. left hand on the ctrl-z readyt to de-fuckup
a nice path gives the same effect.. plus jpegs carry path information.. when i have to do more boring work i feel like blowing the guys that leave paths in some of the shit i've had to cut out
plus i believe a path gives a finer edge which is a bonus when you're making transparent PNG's out of your objects.. less feathering means less info in the alpha channel.... lower file sizes
