I couldn't get in even though I was 18. The theatre I went to in New York State has some law that you cann't take minors into a R-rated movie unless the guardian is 21. Well, there were four of us, 2 were 17, one 16, and myself 18. Even though 3 of us had ID, we could only go in if we left our friend behind. Fuck that.
