The only way to prevent shaving in any decent capacity would be to have some compiled code that would check the integrity of the files, as well as the database it's using to store things in, not on every request of course, but periodically. If i were told to do something like this, i would create an md5 for each file, and as far as the database goes, that's a bit harder, perhaps you could just write it to check the numbers and make sure everything adds up, or perhaps encrypt everything in there so that direct tampering would be difficult. (btw, this is all possible to do, even if it requires a little thinking outside of the box). anyways, that's my
