I waited for the issue of ROI to come up, it has not so I will raise it.

How much can a program afford to pay for a $29 signup? Doesn't it make you wonder when you can be paid $50 for a $29 signup when average retention is 2 billing cycles?

There comes a time when the cost of marketing exceeds the revenue stream. This was less of an issue when surfers could not figure out how to get a refund and did not chargeback. It is more of an issue in the <1% max chargeback days we are seeing now.

This is business and if the program loses money it goes out of business. The realistic programs pay 20-25% per sale, a realistic cost of sale. Those who pay more have to get it someplace.
