I only really blast people when they cut me in line.
I've never had anyone repeat something they've whispered under their breath to my face.
I try not to go off on people infront of my grandmother because it upsets her. I try to explain to her that when you set someone straight you are performing a public duty. If I don't tell this man / woman what time it is, they are going to say something to someone else who might do more than simply use words to show the offender the error in their ways.
