I've gotten some gfy links in my icq from people, usually it's something semi important though, an announcement or big industry news.
Otherwise, I think most people just do playful banter around here, so why bother alerting the world that you posted a picture of a washer machine?
When I posted about my gf being pregnant, I sent it to a few people in my icq... but I didn't send a link to my thread about my laptop battery dying
