I just purchased urbanlegends.com, a decent name but not great, for $100k+, after testing traffic and being very happy with the results.
Pre-testing, I might have paid $20k at best.
Lesson no. 1 repeated: Testing = more money in your pocket.
I am in the process of testing a system where you merely log into my site, post the name you want to test, the system immediately queries the dns, sets up the name via bot and we're live in no time. (Obviously, you gotta' change the dns on your side).
Time saver. I don't even have to be around. Any time of day or night.
Remember: if we don't do a deal, you have stats verified by me, and the return courtesy I do is vouch for those stats to another potential buyer, saving THEM and YOU another test.
