i know that GFY is a small subculture of humanity, but it is a subculture really out of touch with the cultural concept of female beauty.
to find out what the world thinks look at women this age posing in high fashion magazines, i.e. vanity fair, bazaar, or other high-end couture designer advertising---here is a girl pretty enough to pose in these ads.
adornments such as this limit a young woman's opportunities.

it only limits your opportunities if you're planning to be a mainstream fashion model, why not appreciate self expression and individualism. Body modification has been around in many countries for centuries, it's only in certain countries where we're brainwashed to think that women should look at certain way (ie. mainstream tv shows, fashion shows, womens magazines).
I don't see how it could limit our oppotunities, esp in what we're doing. I would think good business skills and intelligance would be first on the list to suceed in this biz.
