Okay, (not being a bitch, so please don't take it that way), remember that you're not the one giving the deal, you're the one who WANTS the deal.
Try something like this:
"Hey Sleazy, it was great meeting you in Atlanta. I don't have contact information for you or I would have contacted you directly, but I'd really like to talk with you about getting listed on your site.
Could you contact me, please, (insert contact info here), or could someone please tell me the best way to contact Sleazy? thanks in advance."
It's all in the wording and the respect shown by a well-thought out appeal.
