OSBOURNE FEARED HARRISON-STYLE ATTACK

Rocker OZZY OSBOURNE has thanked God he wasn't harmed by the burglars who broke into his English mansion yesterday morning (22NOV04) unlike late BEATLE, GEORGE HARRISON.

The former BLACK SABBATH star bravely held one of the two intruder's in a headlock and dangled him out of a window at his Chalfont St Peter, Buckinghamshire home before the thief struggled free, escaping with jewellery worth more than $3.6 million (£2 million).

But Osbourne is amazed he avoided physical injury during the fracas, especially in the knowledge Harrison - who died of cancer in November 2001 - was stabbed and wounded in the chest by an intruder at his home in December 1999.
He said this morning (23NOV04), "I feel worse today than I did yesterday. I could have been like George Harrison. I could have been badly injured or anything.
