Sounds good to me. The house deal is probably more related to what someone is used to. I'm really close with my family so I have them and my friends tromping in and out, day and night. I never think about it and they all have their own key, lol. My ex-husband used to get a little freaked out at first because he wasn't raised like that. The travel deal will probably be the hardest, depending on her work and other commitments.
