I think your thinking is completely wrong. There are tons of great "applications" working on PHP code.
It doesn't really matter anyhow as I already have NATS installed anyhow and is already processing signups

And since they brought on the new people, support has been top-notch.
Good luck with your affiliate software though, a real demo without jumping through hoops would make it easier to sell imho.
