adware is not illegal, won't be illegal, and is used by hundreds of ad companies. In exchange for free software, the user agrees to view ads in lieu of payment. We show an ad, a surfer either agrees to download the software or he doesn't.
49thparallel would have you believe that spyware and adware are the same even after the ftc told him they aren't and to stop calling them about it.
