Personally I give them 2 chances then....since time is money I charge them a $30 deposit. If they appear for the shoot it is returned. Otherwise it is forfeited as a flake fee.
On the other hand I hear from a fair share of models that there are "flakey" photographers as well....in this industry today anyone with a digital camera can proclaim that they are a top "pro" photographer.
So I guess you have to take the good with the bad.........
Then again for all of the flakes in general......karma is a bitch.
