You fucking moron... I got dumped my my gf of 8 fucking years in much the same fashion and situation. Then she gets on the A-Train with him and in 3 months it is looking like wedding plans are next.
I got on one of my sponsors dating sites and hooked myself the fuck up. Found 8 chicks I dug and 3 of them I laid. Ex-GF calls and wants to return a bunch of shit so her boyfriend will stop getting jealous about it being there. I invite a chick over and talk to another on the phone, "Shit I gotta do something, can you call be back in about 1 hour?"
Ex-GF comes over, I gotta peel away from the chick who realises who the ex is and excuses herself so we can "talk." I tell her how nice it is to not have a steady girlfriend but it sucks also since a steady one is what I am more acustomed to. Then the other calls, I let it go to the answering machine. She tells my machine about the great time she had and how she wants to "see me again, maybe this weekend?"
Ex asks if I am going to date her this weekend, I return, I don't know, do I have plans?
We are back together and it is a year later and she is all like, I am sooo sorry and is now telling her family about the wedding she wants with me.... I am thinking of taking her up on the idea in about 3 more years after I feel comfortable again.
So, go signup to one of the dating sites and get laid. If she doesn't want to come back, fine... Get laid.
