Yeah...it's a huge part of their history, completly accpeted and encouraged....When you learn about the Spartans....they were assigned a buddy as children who would be their lover for life, when they were old enough to mate they would find a woman, get her pregnant and go back to their lover. Children in that era were brought up to be warriors, to defend their land.
