Oh yes, there are forums for just about everything imaginable, thankfully.
I'm a long-standing member of BMEZINE (iam PyrettaBlaze). Hell, I have my own site dedicated to My fun and games.
I'm also a long standing member of alt.com, and you couldn't pry me offa there for any amount of money.
Now I'm itching to go beat the begeezus out of someone, and My pet is half a state away with his family for Thanksgiving. Dammit.
