As pornguy suggested.....You should probably consult with an attorney who is familiar with Adult Internet Law.
2257 requires only 1 piece of ID and says nothing about a release. It does require you to gather other information though. A lot of releases do include that info, however......The vast majority of shooters out there do exactly what it appears that you may have done. They do not work with an attorney who knows their shit and their releases do not collect all of the required information.
I recently signed a contract with a new client who is very well known in this industry and it was clear that they have spent a lot of money with their attorneys...However, even their paperwork was missing one vital detail that is required under 2257. I was the only person who ever caught that and mentioned it to them so they could get it fixed.
In short...Yes, I am very well versed with this subject.
I'm not trying to be a dick....I like your work and may even purchase from you in the future if you take the appropriate steps to show compliance.

OK Aaron we all know you are "well versed with this subject", but I don't really agree, as 2257 is a US law, I am not in the US, but I have sold my work with no problem to many US publishers, Hustler, Barely Legal, Leg World, Penthouse, Gallery, Leg Show etc.
Have probably been doing this a lot longer than you have.
Why do I have to suck arse to US law and put a silly disclaimer saying bla bla bla I own the pictures & I have all the paper work.
I like abyss_al picture as it sums it all up, what happened to the reaction that was going on in the US in the late 60's - 70's ?
I think you should look a bit closer at where you are headed, you keep accepting all these regulations they are going to tighten the screw more & more.
You do Your way I'll do Mine..........
