not all hosts are created equal. if your site goes down and you need to physically reboot your machine will a tech be on call to do it... will the hosting company even contact you if your site is off line? or will you be on vacataion for a week only to return and find out your site has been down for 3 days. OUCH.
Good support is critical. once you develop a list of companies that can provide you with the service level you want ... then work on price.
Bad move to work backwards from price to a "suitable" company .. you might wind up settling for some one that is sub par.

Ya I totally understand your view. But my site is small and I have a lot of traffic which I can feed to my tgp if it were down for even 3 days. I really doesn't matter to me that much. I am looking for a low price so I can make as much of a profit possible which will be spent on traffic...
Once I get a bit established then I will get more expensive hosting if the one that I will have now fails me.
For now pimpshost looks to be my #1 choice.
