When you will be with the right person the feeling will not fade.
It will mutate over time.
Going from passion and desire, to comfort and feeling safe.
The woman of your life should idealy be your life partner. Communication must come first.
She will be the person you can share everything with, so looks should obviously not be up top, although they will determine if you hook up with her in the first place. Just make sure she has what you are looking for beyond that.
Does she make you feel comfortable, do you enjoy your time with her? Does it make you happy when she smiles etc.
If no, then find another. When you find the right one, you will know.
