well thats the thing.. thats why i say im "considered" a vego.. it's not only the people that claim themselves to be vegetarian.. it's the people around them as well.. even you would call me a vego if we hung out together and i would never join in with you at macdonalds, most fastfood, barbecues, pub food etc.... vego has just come to mean someone who doesn't eat mammals..and to be honest.. the definition of a vegetarian will often include fish as an acceptable food source... still i've got a friend whose restriction is that he won't eat anything with "eyes".. look its a varied and mottled group of people.. and unfortunately an easy target to pick on given some of the idiots that like to prance around getting attention.. but i think thats the same with most ANY lifestyle decision.. people that whine on and on about their own choices are bound to get on people's nerves.. i hate whiny vegos.. but at the same time i don't know many and hate whiny dieters, whiny spiritualists.. whiny whatever.. in fact most of the vegetarians i know i only found out after about 6-8 months of knowing them.. it's just not and issue to blab on about.. it's just food.. but i guess there is a distinction between the reasons people have become vegetarians that makes them annoying.. if it's a uni student who's recently decided that killing poor bunnies and cows is cruel then they're more likely to be whingey "meat is murder" types.. but most of the people i know don't do it out of any "moral" reason.. so it's not a big issue.. im only ever reactive to things like this anyway.. sticking up for it once provoked..
